Description: The 100th anniversary of The International Women's Day was celebrated recently. It was occasion to affirm to our achievements as women and also to look ahead.

Julie Owens is a role model for most Australian women. She was a CEO of a not for profit organisation before joining politics. Julie offers support and encouragement to causes that foster greater equality in Australian society.
